Whenever I meet someone new, there are always
mixed feelings of excitement, nervousness and anticipation.
And interestingly, the first impression I have of people is
often quite different from who they actually are.

The title of this chapter was inspired by
the song “the new girl in town” from the movie Hairspray.
While I was drawing this chapter,
the song was running through my head. Haha
